Julia A. Whittington, 78, passed into Gods arms July 12th, 2020 after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He had been employed at Bakers Construction and Klosterman Bakery. Nanette was a member of United Holiness Church. Upon retirement, he and Elnora moved back to Lake Hope, Ohio, where it all began. in the Clifton Avenue Church of God. In 1941, she and Roger were married at Bethel and spent 57 years of happy marriage together. Right at the onset, I was made very comfortable, there was no pressure. Survivors include his wife; Ashley Rollins, three children; Sadie Young, Lily Haley, and Michael Rollins Jr. all of Springfield, siblings; Gerald Rapp, Bellefontaine, Dennis (Mary) Rapp, Lorinda (Jeff) Myers, Decinda Suki Harris, Charles Rollins Sr. (Crista Mills) all of Springfield, Roger (Jackie) Rollins, Jamey (Vanessa) Rollins, Sherri (Shane) Mathews, Teresa (Danny) Deiner, Jeff Rollins, and Misti (Roger) Sprinkle all of Bellefontaine, many nieces and nephews and special friend; Amanda Crace, Springfield. She was born June 20, 1934, in the Parish of St. Andrew, Jamaica West Indies, the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Myra Cruchley. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the chapel. He also had five great grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Zoey, Robert, and Waylon.
